Following diagnosis, Dr Willcocks provides tailored education and management options, including development of an ASCIA Allergy/Anaphylaxis Action Plan. These plans outline:

• Allergens that must be avoided

• Symptoms and signs of allergic reactions

• Steps to take during a reaction, including medications and emergency contacts

Action Plans help keep children and adolescents safe across all environments—home, childcare, school, and the workplace. Dr Willcocks also provides education on recognising mild, moderate, and severe reactions, and demonstrates correct use of adrenaline devices.

In addition to action plans for food allergy, Dr Willcocks can also provide management plans for eczema, asthma, and allergic rhinitis along with accompanying patient/caregiver education; training; and medication prescriptions.
